Approach via the A4 from Cologne:

• A4 as far as Aachen motorway intersection
  
• change to left-hand lane for A544 towards Europaplatz
  
• take next exit, "Würselen-Verlautenheide"
  
• turn left at the lights, then go straight on, as far as the roundabout
  
• take the first exit at the roundabout towards "Gewerbegebiet Aachener Kreuz"
  
• follow this road (Willi-Brand-Ring) for 1.1 km
  
• turn right into Marshallstraße
  
• keep left and follow Marshallstraße
  
• turn left into Karl-Carstens-Straße.
  

Approach via the A44 from Düsseldorf:

• A44 as far as Aachen motorway intersection
  
• direction A4 "Aachen, Antwerp, Heerlen"
  
• change to left-hand lane for A544 towards Europaplatz
  
• take next exit, "Würselen-Verlautenheide"
  
• turn left at the lights, then go straight along on, as far as the roundabout
  
• take the first exit at the roundabout towards "Gewerbegebiet Aachener Kreuz"
  
• follow this road (Willi-Brand-Ring) for 1.1 km
  
• turn right into Marshallstraße
  
• keep left and follow Marshallstraße
  
• turn left into Karl-Carstens-Straße.

Coming from Belgium:

• A44 as far as Aachen motorway intersection
  
• direction A4 "Aachen, Antwerp, Heerlen"
  
• change to left-hand lane for A544 towards Europaplatz
  
• take next exit, "Würselen-Verlautenheide"
  
• turn left at the lights, then go straight on, as far as the roundabout

• A2 towards Maastricht
  
• Kerensheide motorway intersection to A76 towards Heerlen
  
• cross the border at Vetschau (A4 from here)
  
• at the Aachen intersection, follow signs for A44 towards Düsseldorf
  
• turn right towards Düsseldorf and keep right so that you can turn off immediately towards Aachen intersection (you make a loop)
  
• change to left-hand lane for A544 towards Europaplatz
  
• take next exit, "Würselen-Verlautenheide"
  
• turn left at the lights, then go straight on, as far as the roundabout
  
• take the first exit at the roundabout towards "Gewerbegebiet Aachener Kreuz"
  
• follow this road (Willi-Brand-Ring) for 1.1 km
  
• turn right into Marshallstraße
